You can tell us now that your group is interested. Nine questions, about five minutes, and everything we ask is something you already know without looking it up.

What this does, and what it does not

It is not an application and it is not a queue. Nobody is being assessed yet, and registering early does not improve your chances — we are not ranking anyone.

What it does is tell us which groups are waiting and what they need. When applications open we will write to you and say so. If you would rather just talk to a person first, email programme@irabu.org.

Before you start

  • Check the eligibility criteria — it will save you the form if the answer is no.
  • Have one link ready that shows your group exists. A register entry, an official page, a website.
  • Any email address works. You do not need one at your own domain.

What we will not ask

  • Anything about the people you serve.
  • Anything about anyone under 18.
  • Financial statements or board lists.
  • How difficult things are for you.

What happens after

Every application gets a written decision with a reason, within a target of ten working days. If you are declined you can reply and a different person will review it.

Prefer email? Send the same details to programme@irabu.org.

Your group

A register or directory entry if you have one, otherwise a website or an official page. One link is enough — see the evidence table on the eligibility page for what works for your kind of group.

Staff, volunteers or members — an estimate is fine. We use it to size the workspace, not to judge the application.

You

Any address you actually read. A personal or shared account is fine — we know not every group has its own domain.

Anything else

Optional, and short is fine. If you agree to a directory listing this is where its wording starts, so describe your work rather than your difficulties. Do not include anything about the people you serve or anyone under 18.

Confirmations
Being listed publicly

Optional, and it does not affect whether you are approved. Groups covered by the 3% profit commitment never need a listing.

We use what you send here only to assess this application and to reply to you. See Privacy.
