The Business tier of the Irabu platform, free, renewed annually. Below is every limit, every inclusion and every thing it does not cover.

Irabu sells four plans. Approved schools and nonprofits are placed on Business — the second-highest — at no cost. Plan contents are taken from the commercial pricing page and change when it does.

01 / The award

In specifics.

Tier
Business. The same plan a commercial customer pays $19 per workspace per month for.
Cost to you
Nothing. No card, no invoice, no minimum term, no auto-conversion to a paid plan at the end.
Term
Twelve months, renewed for a further twelve on a short confirmation that your organisation still qualifies. There is no cap on the number of renewals.
People
Up to 200 members of your workspace, plus up to 100 guests. Guests are for volunteers, trustees, governors and partner staff who need part of the workspace but not all of it.
AI
5,000 requests a month. Answers are grounded only in what your organisation has shared with the platform, and every answer carries its sources.
Automations
200 active automations.
Storage
100 GB.
Support
Priority support, the same queue as paying Business customers.
Records
Audit log export, so your own auditors, trustees or funders can see who did what.
Set-up
A live onboarding session with your team, and templates for common needs — safeguarding logs, grant tracking, policy libraries, term planning.

02 / Not included

What the programme does not cover.

Listing this is not us managing expectations downward. It is so you can plan.

  • Enterprise features. IP allowlisting, a custom contract and a signed DPA sit on the Enterprise plan. If your regulator requires them, tell us at application and we will say honestly whether we can meet it.
  • Single sign-on. SAML and OIDC are not built yet, on any plan. If your IT policy mandates SSO, this is a blocker today and we would rather you knew now.
  • Data migration. We will advise, and the import tools are yours to use, but we do not move your files for you.
  • Hardware, connectivity or devices. We give software. If the barrier in your organisation is laptops or bandwidth, this programme does not solve it.
  • Bespoke development.Feature requests go in the same queue as everyone else’s.
  • Cash. This is a licence programme. We do not make grants.

Grant conditions, deadlines and evidence tracked in one place, with an audit trail you can export when a funder asks.

Answering the same question once

Staff ask the workspace instead of asking a colleague. Every answer is cited, so it can be checked rather than trusted blindly.

04 / Safeguarding and data

Rules we hold ourselves to when the recipient is a school.

A programme aimed at schools has to be clear about children’s data before it is clear about anything else.

  • We collect no student data. Not at application, not during the programme. Our relationship is with the institution and its staff.
  • No accounts for under-18s. The programme provisions staff workspaces. We do not create pupil logins.
  • Your content is not training data. Content in your workspace is used for inference only and never to fine-tune or update model weights.
  • You stay the data controller. What your staff choose to put in the workspace stays yours, and you can export it and leave at any point.
  • Concerns have a route. Anything safeguarding- related goes to safeguarding@irabu.org, and we aim to acknowledge within one working day.

If your intended use would require us to process information about identifiable children, stop and tell us at application rather than proceeding. FERPA, COPPA and UK GDPR each change what is allowed, and that is a legal question, not a settings question.
